Tangier, Marrakesh, and Rabat are three very different Moroccan cities, each with its own very distinctive feel. I didn't snap many pictures in Marrakesh, because the souk streets were very tightly crowded and frenzied. But here are some shots of Tangier and then Rabat. You can see how clear and beautiful the light is. The Moorish architecture in the old parts of both cities are lovely, and illustrate the tie between Morocco and southern Spain. The last several pictures are of Rabat's sprawling Chellah Necropolis. If you ever are in Rabat, make sure you see it--the Eyewitness guidebook we were using didn't fully convey how extensive and beautiful the ruins are.
